Hey guys. I stumbled across an interesting BL novel on jjwxc today and decided to post a teaser summary in case some of you darlings want to pick it up. Just as a heads up, this isn’t an easy novel to translate (at least for me). I don’t have a translator checker that’s interested in this novel, so that’s why I’m hesitant in picking this novel up.
If I do make this a project, then the translations won’t be as refined as Story of Yanxi Palace‘s.
I’m not entirely sure how to translate the title “Fei Pin Ying Qiang (妃嫔媵嬙).” But if I’m to break each character down by itself, Fei is Consort, Pin is Imperial Concubine, Ying is dowry maid, and Qiang is a female official. Basically, this term refers to the ranks of female officials living in the Six Palaces, which is what the inner courtyard/imperial harem is known as.
